Shipping Policy

Handling time
Orders ship within 1–2 business days (Mon–Fri). You’ll receive a tracking email when your order leaves our warehouse or the brand partner’s facility.

Shipping methods & carriers
UPS, FedEx, or USPS based on item size and destination. Oversized items may ship by LTL freight (curbside delivery; signature may be required).

Cost

  • Free shipping on orders $99+ to the contiguous U.S.
  • Orders under $99: live carrier rates at checkout.
  • Alaska/Hawaii: calculated carrier rates (some oversized items not eligible for free shipping),
  • We do not currently ship internationally.

Delivery estimates
Most in-stock items arrive 3–7 business days after shipment within the continental U.S. Rural addresses and freight shipments may take longer. Carrier delays (weather/peak season) are outside our control.

Freight deliveries (large/oversized)
Freight items deliver curbside. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery window. Please inspect the shipment and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing; then email support@hearthtrail.com with photos.

Split shipments
Your order may arrive in multiple boxes or from different warehouses. You’ll receive a tracking number for each package.

Address changes & order edits
For fastest help, email support@hearthtrail.com within 1 hour of placing your order. Once an order is processed, we’re unable to change the address or item(s).

Undeliverable/returned packages
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect/undeliverable address or refusal, original shipping costs may be deducted from your refund. Re-ship fees may apply.

Lost or damaged packages

  • Damage: Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos/video and your order #.
  • Lost: If tracking shows no movement for 7+ days (or marked delivered but not received), contact us so we can open a carrier investigation and assist with a replacement per carrier outcome.

PO boxes, APO/FPO, freight forwarders
We can ship many small items to PO Boxes via USPS; large/oversized items require a street address. We do not ship to APO/FPO or freight forwarders at this time.

Preorders & backorders
Estimated ship dates are provided on the product page and in your confirmation email. We’ll keep you updated if dates change.

Sales tax
Collected where required by law and shown at checkout.
